Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
  • We collect your email, your purchase and your progress. Meta's ad pixel runs only on our marketing pages, never in the course.
  • Card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers.
  • Coach conversations are never used to train AI, and you can delete them.

This policy explains what The Complete Human LLC, trading as The Complete Human, collects when you use complete-human.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language. If anything here is unclear, email info@complete-human.com and we will explain it.

What we collect

Only what the service needs to work.

  • Your account. Email address and a hashed password, or an authentication token if you sign in through a third party. Your name only if you give it to us.
  • Your purchase. What you bought, when, and the amount. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We receive a payment confirmation, the last four digits, and the card brand. When you buy a guide, Stripe also keeps that card on file so you can add the Course Coach afterwards in one press, without entering it again. It is only charged when you press to buy. We never see the full number, and if you email us we will have it removed.
  • Your progress. Which steps you have completed, so the course remembers where you are. If you invite a partner, the two of you share one place in the course, so each of you can see which steps are done.
  • Anything you write into the AI Course Coach. Covered separately below, because it deserves its own section.
  • Basic technical information. IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, in server logs and analytics.

We do not collect health information, we do not ask you to describe a diagnosis, and nothing you write in a downloadable worksheet is transmitted to us. Worksheets are yours. You fill them in offline or on paper and we never see them.

The AI Course Coach

If you use the Coach, what you type is sent to Anthropic to generate a response, and stored so your conversation persists between sessions.

The Coach is shared between partners. One membership covers both of you, each with your own login, and you share one conversation with the Coach. Everything either of you writes there, the other can read. The one exception is your private safety conversation, which is only for talking about your safety. Your partner cannot see it, or whether you have used it, and you can delete it at any time.

So the Coach can pick up where you left off, it keeps a short memory card for the two of you: the words you use for things, what you are each practicing, and where you are in the course. It never records anything about your safety, your health, sexual matters, or details that identify you or anyone else. You can both see the card, edit or delete what is about you, or switch memory off. Memory starts only once you buy the Coach, not during the free questions.

If the partner link between your logins is removed, for example after a breakup, the memory card is deleted straight away and neither of you can add to the shared conversation any more. For 30 days you can both still read it, download a copy, and delete your own messages. After that it is deleted. You then choose which of you keeps the course, each choosing in your own account. Whoever keeps it keeps the Coach and any messages left, and starts a fresh conversation. The other can still read the course. Until you have both chosen, the Coach's paid messages are paused, and if you have not both chosen within those 30 days, everything stays with whoever held the course.

People often write candidly to a coach about their relationship, so three commitments:

  • We do not use your conversations to train AI models, and our provider agreement prohibits them from doing so with data sent through our account.
  • We do not read your conversations, except where we are legally compelled to.
  • You can download the shared conversation and delete your own messages at any time, and you can delete your private safety conversation whenever you like.

The Coach is not a therapist and your conversations with it are not protected by therapist confidentiality or privilege. Treat it as you would a well-informed book that answers back, not as a clinical relationship.

Why we hold it, and who else sees it

To give you access to what you bought, to remember your progress, to answer your emails, to process payments and refunds, to understand in aggregate which parts of a guide people finish, and to measure whether our ads work. We do not sell your data and we do not build profiles for anyone else. The one thing we share for advertising is described under Advertising measurement below.

Four companies process data on our behalf: Stripe for payments, Supabase for accounts and progress, Vercel for hosting, and Anthropic for the AI Course Coach. Each is bound by its own agreement with us and may only use the data to provide its service. Meta also receives limited information when you visit our marketing pages or buy, as described under Advertising measurement.

How long we keep it

Your account and progress for as long as your account exists, since you bought lifetime access. Coach conversations and the Coach's memory card until you delete them or close your account, or for 30 days after the partner link between your logins is removed. Payment records for seven years, which is what tax and accounting law requires. Server logs are held by our hosting and database providers only briefly, currently no more than seven days, and we do not copy them anywhere else.

What you can ask us to do

Whatever your jurisdiction, you can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop emailing you. Email info@complete-human.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, the legal bases we rely on are contract, for delivering what you bought, and legitimate interest, for security and aggregate analytics. If you are in California, we do not sell personal information. Measuring our ads with Meta, described under Advertising measurement, may count as sharing under the CCPA, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any right.

Cookies

We set a cookie to keep you signed in and to remember whether you prefer light or dark reading. On a few marketing pages, Meta's pixel also sets cookies, as described under Advertising measurement below.

The video on the course page is hosted by YouTube. Nothing is loaded from Google until you press play, so simply visiting the page contacts them not at all. If you do play it, Google's player loads and may set cookies of its own, which are theirs rather than ours. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which limits what it collects from people who watch.

Advertising measurement

We advertise on Facebook and Instagram, and we use Meta's pixel and Conversions API to measure whether those ads lead to purchases. On our homepage, the course sales page and the page you see after buying, Meta's pixel sets cookies and records your visit, when you start checkout, and your purchase. When you buy the course or the Course Coach, we also send Meta your email address in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address and browser type, and the purchase amount, so Meta can match the purchase to an ad.

We never load Meta's pixel inside the course, your library, your account or the Course Coach, and we never share what you read, write, or discuss there.

You can limit how Meta uses this information in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies. Meta's use of the data is governed by Meta's own privacy policy.

Children

This is material for adults in adult relationships. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, email us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email you and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the revised policy.

DOCUMENT TWO

Terms of Service

Effective October 3, 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
  • Education, not therapy. No therapist relationship and no promised outcome.
  • One purchase covers both partners, for as long as we operate.
  • Not designed for a relationship involving abuse or fear.

These terms are the agreement between you and The Complete Human LLC, trading as The Complete Human, when you buy or use anything on complete-human.com. Buying a guide or creating an account means you accept them.

PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY

Our guides are education, not therapy or medical treatment. They do not create a therapist and client relationship with Dan Entmacher or anyone else, they are not a substitute for professional care, and no outcome is promised. Dan is a Licensed Professional Counselor, and creating a course is not practicing counseling with you. If you are in crisis, or if there is violence or coercion in your relationship, this material is not the right tool and the resources below most likely are.

Your account and your access

You need an account to read a guide you have bought. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it. You must be 18 or older.

One purchase of The Conflict Code covers both partners in a relationship. Your partner gets their own login: add their email from your account page and they can sign in themselves. Either of you can remove the link between your logins at any time. If your partner had signed in, the two of you then choose which of you keeps the course, and the other keeps access to read it. That happens once for each purchase: anyone removed after that loses access. Lifetime access means for as long as we operate the service, including future updates to that guide. If we ever have to shut down, we will give you at least 30 days notice and a way to download what you bought.

What you may and may not do with the material

Everything we publish, including the text, the six-pillar framework, the worksheets and the design, belongs to us or our licensors. You get a personal, non-transferable license to read it, print the worksheets, and use all of it in your own relationship, for as long as your account exists.

You may not republish it, resell it, post it publicly, share your login with anyone else, use it to run a course or group of your own, or feed it into a system that trains or fine-tunes an AI model. Clinicians and coaches who want to use this with clients should email us, since we are happy to talk about licensing.

Prices and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, and Stripe's terms apply to the transaction. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax we are required to collect, which is shown at checkout. When you buy a guide, you agree that Stripe may keep your card on file so you can add the Course Coach in one press; we charge it only when you press to buy, and tax is added the same way. We can change the price of anything we sell in future, but never for something you have already bought.

The AI Course Coach is a separate purchase. It is $20 per month, which includes 100 coaching messages a month, or $97 once for lifetime access while the founding offer is open, which includes 500 coaching messages. The founding offer is for the first 200 founding members, and it is open to you for one week after you buy a guide. One membership covers both partners: each of you has your own login, and you share one conversation with the Coach. Lifetime access covers the Coach for every guide we publish, for as long as we operate the service. If you run out, you can add 250 messages for $19 or 600 for $39, and those messages never expire. A message is one message you send. The Coach's replies do not count, and neither do messages that get a safety response. Unused monthly messages do not roll over. A monthly subscription renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from your account, which stops the next charge and leaves your access running to the end of the period you paid for. The guide is complete without the Coach and you never need it to finish the course.

Each course purchase includes 3 free Coach questions for the couple to share, once. A question is one message you send that gets a reply. Messages that get a safety response do not count, and the free questions are separate from any paid allowance.

The Coach, specifically

The Coach is software. It generates responses from a language model and it can be wrong, incomplete, or confidently mistaken. It does not diagnose, it does not treat, and it must not be relied on for a decision about your health, safety, or legal position. Do not use it in an emergency. Use of the Coach is subject to fair-use limits, currently 30 messages a day per membership, so that one membership cannot degrade the service for everyone else.

Refunds

Covered in full by the Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account whenever you like from your account page, or by emailing us. We may suspend or close an account that shares logins widely, redistributes the material, abuses the Coach, or breaks these terms in some other material way. If we close your account for a breach, you are not entitled to a refund.

Disclaimers and limits

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result in your relationship. Nothing here excludes a liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability to you for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Buncombe County, North Carolina. We have deliberately not required arbitration. If something goes wrong, we would rather refund you quickly than argue about the forum.

If you are not safe

This course assumes two people who both want the relationship to work and who are safe with each other. It is not designed for a relationship involving abuse, coercive control, or fear, and some of its practices could put you at greater risk in one. In the United States, the National Domestic Violence Hotline is 1-800-799-7233, or text START to 88788. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are having thoughts of suicide, call or text 988.

DOCUMENT THREE

Refund Policy

Effective October 3, 2026
THE SHORT VERSION
  • Thirty days, full refund, no forms and no exit interview.
  • Issued within two business days of your email.
  • Cancel the Coach subscription any time from your account.

Thirty days, full refund, no forms and no exit interview. Email info@complete-human.com and say you want your money back.

The guarantee on a guide

If within 30 days of buying The Conflict Code you do not believe it was worth well more than you paid, we refund you in full. You do not have to explain yourself, you do not have to prove you read it, and you keep any worksheets you have already printed and filled in. We would rather you had the material than the argument.

We issue the refund to your original payment method within two business days of your email. From there it is your bank’s timing rather than ours, and a card refund usually appears within a further 5 to 10 days. Your access to the guide ends when the refund is issued.

The Coach subscription

Cancel a monthly subscription any time from your account. Cancelling stops the next charge and your access runs to the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate part of a month, but if you were charged for a month you have not used and you tell us promptly, email us and we will sort it out.

A lifetime Coach membership is refundable in full for 30 days on the same terms as a guide.

The limits, stated plainly

After 30 days we do not refund a guide, because lifetime access to something you have read for a month is not really a trial any more. We may decline a refund where an account has redistributed the material or where someone has bought and refunded repeatedly. Neither is common and neither is aimed at anyone acting in good faith.

If you are outside the United States, you may have statutory refund rights that go further than this policy. Those rights stand regardless of what this document says.

Before you dispute a charge

Email us first. A chargeback costs us a fee and takes weeks, and we will almost certainly just refund you. If you do not recognize a charge from us, that is worth an email too, since it may be your partner's purchase on a shared card.

Contact

THE SHORT VERSION
  • info@complete-human.com, answered within two business days.
  • We cannot provide counseling or advise on your relationship by email.
  • In an emergency use the crisis lines, not email.

One address, read by a person. info@complete-human.com

Use it for anything: a refund, a login that will not work, a question about whether the course suits your situation, a licensing inquiry, or a correction to something we have published. We aim to reply within two business days.

What we cannot do by email

We cannot give you counseling, advise on your specific relationship, or take you on as a client. Dan creates the guides and answers questions about them, and that is a different thing from being your therapist. For that, look for a licensed couples therapist where you live, and consider asking whether they are trained in the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, or PACT.

IF YOU NEED HELP NOW

We are a small team and we do not monitor email around the clock, so please do not use it in an emergency. In the United States: call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, call 1-800-799-7233 or text START to 88788 for the National Domestic Violence Hotline, and call 911 if you are in immediate danger.
